Just recently on September 8 to 11, PT Elabram Systems (Indonesia) went on the annual company trip. Leaving Jakarta on Thursday evening, everyone felt really excited to spend time away from the city. The traffic was co-operative, and having such comfortable buses to travel in were a great way to start the trip.

Reaching the Cileunca Resort around 2 AM, everyone was exhausted. Nobody really took the time to appreciate how fresh the air around us was until the next morning. Waking up to such cold weather really energized everyone on this trip, especially because most of us had to shower with cold water. After having breakfast, everyone went on team-building activities and laughed while working out challenges given by the team leaders.

Resting and spending away the beautiful day, everyone regrouped to have dinner which was followed by magnificent performances by the different teams from PTES. Everyone saw a new side of everyone else. Most people laughed until they cried, and it has to be said that even with a tiny bit of jealousy and fear of losing to the other team, everyone fell a little bit more in love with everyone else. Followed by rewards and recognitions that were given to some members of PTES and what seemed like an endless list of door prizes, it was a beautiful night indeed.

The excitement didn’t end there because the next morning, everyone was treated to outbound activities which include rafting to start with, flying fox and paint ball. Needless to say, everyone had a great time and we have the photos to prove it.

Being back to the resort, everyone napped to oblivion. During the night, we had our talented DJ perform by the campfire while everyone danced the night away. It was cold, but the warmth shared by everyone, really made the event enjoyable.

The next morning, everyone gathered to go back to reality being so thankful that the following day was still a holiday. It was a great weekend away and much is and will be treasured by everyone at PTES until the day we get to have our next getaway!
