Ever wonder why those successful people are telling everyone to take risk even though there are many sure failures involved? The answer? because it is the formula and reason why they are successful.
“Take a chance! All life is a chance. The man who goes the furthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare.” – Dale Carnegie
DOERS OR DREAMERS
Taking risk is not easy, it means you need to remove that butterflies in your tummy and jump in that situation or make that decision which you are afraid to do for years, same as going to the gym, you will not have that abs if you are just sitting there eating burgers everyday. Many are turned off by risks. It is actually easier and more comfortable to sit down in the safe spot and wait or maybe just sleep. But this is what distinguishes the doers from the dreamers. While the dreamers is still sleeping and waiting for the best moment to take action, the taker has caught the rewards. Risk takers are more likely to be successful because they do not limit themselves and are willing to put in their energy when every other person is hesitant.
THEY STAND OUT
Why those successful people looks like they are the light of the show or standing out? It’s like they are Jim Carrey making everyone laugh or Jack Ma, the English teacher who founded Alibaba and right now is worth $27.9 billion. People who take risk are crazy genius. Somehow this courage is shown and impressive. With courage also comes confidence and alertness. When every other person withdraws they are willing to stay in. This makes risk takers leaders as they are anointed to be by their own self. They shoot the sky amidst the storm. They constructed their own stage.
If you think you are bold enough to take that risk whether joining the MLM, be one of the Co-founders of that StartUp or just simply grabbed that opportunity to produce a concert, well then again, everything is not under your control. Just make sure that you have the knowledge, skills, people and luck on your sleeves. Also, do not forget that in every risk, there might be failures or if you are lucky enough, success, do not give up, Jack Ma scored 1 out of 120 points on the math portion of his college math exam and even rejected 10 times from Harvard, still, the persistence and patience was there. Formula of success? Maybe.
