We are not in this world to work so that we can live. Work by definition is a job or activity that you do regularly especially in order to earn money. Money on the other hand is any item that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services. If you will going to check it, we need to have work to earn a living since money is the compensation from the work done.

According to some passionate individuals, if you love what you’re doing, it’s not work at all, so meaning, you must love your work in order not to work at all, confusing? anyway, here are 3 steps to not have work at all and yet you are still earning.

1. Choose a workplace with a culture that matches your needs. -Research the company, read reviews and talk to as many current employees as you can during the interview process. Oh! I saw some employees who are really dissing their boss and the culture of the company is really a nightmare. Imagine your boss who doesn’t accept any suggestions and that he is the only one who is good in that company. Ask every person what he or she likes most about working there and how he or she feels about his or her work-life balance. Pay more attention to the non-verbal cues than words. Remember, these people work there; they have to try to sell you. Hesitation and vagueness in response are red flags. Relaxed, detailed replies are better reflections of honesty. Check that smirk on her face whenever you are asking questions.
2. Choose the position or industry where you are really good at and where you are enjoying.- I know some people who graduated as nurses and yet loving their job in a BPO company because of the higher salary, good benefits  and more perks and in that company for years already…..even with a graveyard shift.
3. Be grateful. – Oh yes! It’s me, the forever grateful team member, as for me, the trust in my capabilities and skills are enough reason to be passionate on what I am doing. Yes, it’s not work for me, I am enjoying every seconds of it. Same as writing this article.
