This is not about honesty anymore, Integrity is more, it’s about walking the talk or doing what is ethically right like even paying your employees or giving what is due to that person even nobody is auditing. Integrity is regarded by many people as  truthfulness or accuracy of one’s actions.

In my radio show every Saturday in the Philippines under DZME 1530 which I am very thankful and grateful for giving me two hours show entitled “Let’s Talk About Career,” I discussed “Workplace Values” in one segment every show. This for me is very important in order for the newbies to understand more that these values is actually the guidelines of the organization.

Above all is Integrity. Integrity is one of the fundamental values that employers seek in the employees that they hire. It is the hallmark of a person who demonstrates sound moral and ethical principles at work. A person who has integrity lives his or her values in relationships with coworkers, customers, and stakeholders.

In general, we love people who fulfill their promises. Nothing beats people with integrity, this apply to everyone, rich or poor, male or female or an employee or an employer. Integrity means doing the right thing in a reliable way. It’s the personality trait that we admire, maybe because not everyone has this quality. It is the quality that talks about fairness. We could also say that a person with integrity has more empathy too- the feeling that you understand and share another person’s experiences and emotions and following the golden rule- Do not do to others what you don’t like others to do unto you.
