Your recruiter will not have all day to review closely and have only seconds to grasp the important bit.

Appear vital on your job recital, avoid using these words on your CV or resume.

Motivated
It gives no insight to your work ethics, if you wish to emphasize on this aspect. Try something like “Motivated to expand to new challenge in Digital Marketing”.

Creative
Or innovative. They are overused and opinionated towards your judgment only. Writing “Worked along creative people” leave a modest impression.

Detail-oriented
It doesn’t say much unless supported evidences are presented. It will back-stab you if you have spelling or grammar mistakes on your CV.

Think outside the box
Not if you use this phrase, you don’t. Think before you use such expression as that’s what you wish to show not tell – else it will be ironic.

Strategic thinker
It doesn’t give idea to employer on what you will bring to the company. Better to write “Implemented a retention campaign to achieve 35% comeback rate in 30 days”.

Team player
Every employer will look for this quality, but rather than saying this try to use words like “cooperate”, “collaborated” or “mentored” to convey the same quality.

Punctual
Everyone that want to keep the job will do this, it’s expected by employer. Writing this is meaningless and is not a strength.

Result-driven
Company expects employee to achieve the goal and deliver good result. Show evidence that how you have successfully achieved good result.
