Everyone has different engagements in their working organization. They have different approach also. Not everyone is the same but whether one is engage or not, the top management must exert effort to meet with them from time to time. Employee engagement is the emotional commitment the employee has to the organization and its goals. this emotional commitment means engaged employees actually care about their work and their company.
Meeting and occasional events with the employees is a big factor already since not all organization is doing this. Better engagement means better productivity and when employees are emotionally connected at work, it means that they are more engaged thus resulting to higher productivity. Just recently at Elabram Systems Malaysia, they had a Mid Year Event celebrating the birthday celebrants. All celebrants received a big “Ketupat” or Malay traditional rice cake.
